Worked great, BUT DST fails!
This app was working great (a 4 star review to 1 star) until November 4th, 2012, when Daylight Saving Time ended the alarm has twice failed to go off on the correct time (2 days in a row). Good thing I still woke up around the normal time I have the alarm set to. Would love you to add more colors to the LCD clock and seconds to the flip clock!

So now, after buying your old version, I have to pay for clocks I once had?
Most of the previous owners of this app watched as it was rarely updated and then finally killed. We were promised we would be given the new version for free for more than a year. Now this is finally out and...we have to pay for the clocks that we already once owned? Really? Good luck to anyone expecting a timely update to fix bugs, etc. Perhaps they will get fixed in the paid version 3 due in a couple years. P.S. I switched to Awesome Clock ages ago anyway. A great app with the ability to really customize the look of your clock, plus the snooze/alarm function is the best I've seen.

The point of an alarm clock is to wake you up. However, Night Stand needs to be an open app in order for it to go off. Otherwise it just put a silent- therefore useless- alert at the top of the screen.

Good, but still has bugs
I really want to LOVE this alarm clock, but I've found some issues. The one that drives me nuts is that the flip clock (which is my favorite clock), is stuck in 24 hour mode. It completely ignores the settings. There have been several mornings where the alarm did not sound. In some instances the app crashes in the middle of the night. If you need a RELIABLE clock, look elsewhere.

Not worth it
Alarm is cool but it does not work 100% of the time. Was late for work a couple of times because the app has bugs. Can never use, or count on it again. What's the point of an alarm app that does Not sound an alarm.

Unreliable and downgraded since its original release
Please update this app by removing all the updates since this became HD 2 except for the iPhone 5 support. 1st stealing the original app out of the App Store so paying customers can't download it anymore was a downgrade not an update. Adding Game Center was the worst idea ever. At least make an option to turn it off. Scoring points by sleeping with an app that isn't even a game? STUPID!!! You can't be serious. Also removing the option to dim the clock with preciseness by sliding your finger was a bad downgrade also. Now all you have is two options bright and dim. Most of the updates have been downgrades from the original version in my opinion. The wort part of all is the fact the alarm is no longer reliable. If you edit the alarm after viewing the clock screen it makes it so the alarm won't even go off even though the settings are correct. I had this happen to me twice in one week and made me late for work. The old version never did that. I'll look for a new alarm clock app since this one is ruined.
