Worst update
Wow this is bad sw. I love my Nest so much but they ruined it with this update - arrows are gone which were so easy to use. Now I sometimes put the air in the right way - randomly some of my devices disappear when they have a strong wifi signal and all other devices are working. I have hope for Nest that they will fix these but why did we even have to get here.

Bring back the temp Arrows!!
The twist temperature control is horrible. Used to be able to go up and down a degree or two in one second. Now it slides all over the place.

Just an idea
I love my nest unit, it's great however I wish that when I walked by my unit in the house, because I always look at it, you could have the option to see the weather forecast or see the traditional temp. screen. And if the forecast is up then you push the nest to switch back to the traditional temp. Screen. This I think would b a great feature for getting ready for the day.

Not happy since software update
After taking the time to write a very detailed schedule, we returned home twice this week to find the house was 80 when programmed to be 75. Apparently the auto away was disabling the program, and the issue corresponded to the recent update. What is the use of making a schedule if the stupid thing disables itself daily when I go to work? I shut the darn auto everything off and set it to 75 while we're away this week so our house sitter doesn't find herself roasting.

UI was great, now poor!
Give me a break! How can you take a perfectly great product, with a perfectly good user interface and screw it up. The up and down arrows were perfect, intuitive, and provided easy one degree control. The new UI is not intuitive and does not provide the precision I want. There's overshoot then undershoot. It's TERRIBLE! String message to follow! Get an update out there ASAP! Who tested this?

Adds issues, doesn't subtract issues
New: I hate the "twist" method of temp-setting, especially on range. Super-easy to accidentally bump, hard to set at a fine resolution. The best method I've found is to tap the sides. Old: still requires rotation for most productive operations. I'd like to go back to the previous version for now, and have it updated to support both portrait and landscape operation. Or at least force landscape mode on app launch, so I don't have to lock or unlock my rotation and jiggle around with my phone.
