Still stuck in the 8-5 M-F world
Like a lot of factory workers, I work a compressed shift. 4 days on, 3 off and then 3 on with 4 days off. This thermostat only does the standard 7 days a week. I need a 14 day cycle. One of the main reasons I bought this was to be able to have the AC off during the day but at the proper temperature when I got home. It doesn't do it. It is normally an hour and a half to two hours late. It has a change filter feature but it doesn't give you any feedback. My old thermostat could be set for x days of run time and would tell you how much you have left. This somehow measures efficiency but doesn't give you any feedback at all about where you are in the life of the filter. For something that is supposed to be very high tech it really is very limited and does not deliver on its promises.

Was good but now...
I miss the arrows turn the temp up or down. Now it's just frustrating changing the temp on the app. Please please bring the arrows back. I'd like to see, and have been waiting to see, if the ability to add away's to the schedule manually would be put in.

Great thermostat, lots of potential, room for improvement
The main page of the app has a lot of vacant space. Just a generic picture of a house? I wish that the main page of the app showed this information front and center: * The temperature & humidity in my house * The temperature & humidity outside (for my zip code) You have to click through a few things just to see the humidity inside your home.

Retry, retry, retry, retry... Nope, nothing!
I have tried and tried to control both of my nest thermostats using my iPhone 4, but all I can do is see the temp reading. If I try to manipulate either nest, I get a white screen that tells me to logout or try again. And no matter how many times I press try again, it fails to work. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled at lest 3 times. My wife has no trouble at all using the app with her iPhone 4 or her iPad 2. The only help I've received was to make sure my routers port's were open... REALY? Sigh. I give 2 stars because the app is good when it works.

Saves Money!!
Both the thermostat and app are great. After 2 weeks I have had great ability to control costs by keeping a good temp in house. Ability to turn AC back in after weekend away so the it was comfortable before we got home was wonderful.

Great app
I love this app. Works just great for me. For those complaining about the temp controls. You can still tap above and below the temp readout to change temperature instead of having to turn the dial.
