Works perfectly
Have no complaints about the Nest unit or the app. Easy to install connected immediately to my network and iphone.

If only it worked
It's probably the thermostats fault, but at least two thirds of the time that I open this app I'll get a "failure to connect" or something like that. I have strong wifi fairly close to the thermostat so there shouldn't be any connection issues, but there are...always. Anyway, the app. Nice interface, easy to use, etc.

Multiple Location Functionality Needs Improvement
I love the Nest and just set it up in my primary residence and second home. My primary residence is shared with other people but my secondary residence is not. You should allow multiple accounts to connect to one thermostat. Without that functionality, my roommates will have access to my secondary residence thermostat. Alternatively, I could set up two accounts for each location for myself, but that's inconvenient and defeats the purpose of setting up multiple locations. I should be able to access both thermostats with one account and my roommates should only be able to access the one only where they reside. This was not thought out well for those who share a home with others.

Works great.
I have to say, this is a neat little device and the app works as expected. Connectivity is a little slower when my iPhone is not on wifi, but this is expected. I also have a bit of advice for those who complain about certain features not being visible because you keep your device locked in portrait. Stop locking your device in portrait! Many apps feature alternate views for different device orientations, it's kind of the point in putting an accelerometer in your iDevice. The problem is you're using your device wrong, and is not a software problem.

Not sure what all the complaining is about...the setup was a breeze. Perhaps that is because I apparently have a router made this century...unlike some others who are bashing the Nest. Connected fine to my router, to Nest.com, and to my iPhone & iPad.
