Great app
I love this app. Works just great for me. For those complaining about the temp controls. You can still tap above and below the temp readout to change temperature instead of having to turn the dial.

Love it!
Just needs additional UI buttons for setting temp.

I can't remember the last time a product impressed me this much. The Nest thermostat is the future of home environmental controls!

Where are the arrows?
Used to be five stars, now down to three. The last update removed the arrows to control the temperature set points. Some other comments have also noted this inexplicable change, and offered that "rotating" the on-screen dial is the new method. However, I have Heat and Cool sets points active, so rotating doesn't work -- no way to know which set point you want to change. As it turns out, tapping where the arrows used to be still works, but it took a few minutes of fiddling and failed attempts to figure it out. Just put the visual indicators back, please. A newbie would never discover how to change the set points.

Never connects anymore
Big time connectivity issues

The primary reason to pay a premium for a Nest is the ability to control it remotely. The app works sporadically at best, so the ability to control it while away from home is a false promise. We have one installed at home and one at a cabin. The ability to connect to them goes down at the same time and comes back at the same time, so it obviously is a problem on their end. Yesterday when leaving the cabin, we wanted to increase the temperature at home so when we returned it would be comfortable. we were unable to connect the whole way home and returned to a cold house. We never would have turned the temp down to 50 if we didn't think we could connect remotely. We are able to connect remotely about 40% of the time in the two weeks we've owned them. Update March 2013: connectivity has improved. Functions fine now. I think they must have been overloaded with more Christmas installs than expected.
