Forced rotation is stupid
You are forced to rotate your phone to use some of the main features, some of which are buried even after rotation. As someone with my phone locked in portrait mode, this app is so difficult to use it is almost worthless. I will most likely return my nest device due to this.

Needs an update!
The app for the iPhone worked perfectly until the last update caused network outages and loss of connectivity between the app and the Nest. Hard to say this, but now the Nest is worse than the old thermostat it replaced. Read the support forums and as simple as TCP/IP is, why would your app conflict with routing tables or NAT translations or have issues with so many routers... Again, your last update to the app/Nest did this and if it worked fine before, why blame the routers?

Absolutely Perfect
Others claim they can not connect or they keep getting disconnected. I do not have that problem. This app and nest has worked great. So well that while I am out my son will call to ask me to turn the heater on as he is too cold to get out from under his blanket. So while I am at the grocery store I am turning on the heat at home. Great management tool for your energy use as well. Love this app

So much potential...
I was so happy to get my nest in the mail the other day! The installation was fairly easy, and connecting to the network was also straight forward. However, as many of the other reviewers have noted, there are some MAJOR problems with this product and the app. Maintaining connectivity to the network, even with different high end routers, is almost impossible not to mention a complete drain on the device's rechargeable battery. I have spoken with tech supports my times, and they advise me to adjust settings that are not adjustable within my routers setup menu. No real solution unfortunately, but instead think that I should wait for a firmware update for my router (as well as numerous other high end and very mainstream routers), rather than trying to fix it with a software solution on their end. It has so much potential, too bad it is largely unrealized..

Connection problems...
Having trouble with the app. The current temperature on my Nest and my app aren't identical! My app will sometimes say its 66 degrees in the house, and the Nest will say its 67.5! Also, it would be helpful if the temperature change showed not only the whole number, but as well as the .1, .5, .7 etc!
