A few more additions needed
New to nest and I love that I can control from anywhere. However, I see two things that are needed in the app: - easier temp adjustment. I'm reading in the reviews that it changed in this version. I didn't have the previous one, but it is hard to use. The UI needs to work for the device the app is on, not necessarily mimicking the larger, physical device. - display current house temp more clearly. I think that the current temp should be more prominent. That would allow me to see if there was an hvac failure of some sort. Currently, you need to look at a very small number when viewing a specific thermostat. Current house temp for each thermostat should be viewable on the overview screen.

No regrets!
Absolutely love my Nest thermostat! Saved me so much money & would buy it again if I had to. I highly recommend the thermostat. The Nest app needs additional refinement, like the color scheme, which is abysmal & many other aesthetic refinements but otherwise is exceptionally well functioning. Thanks Nest!

Honeywell
Honeywell was so much more user friendly & had a great display and layout. This gives you nothing. Wish my new house support Honeywell. Need to work on this app. Not reliable at all! Last update was was in May!! Geeez! For $270 you would think!

Where's the hold?
I generally like my Nest thermostat, but in an incredible oversight, the thermostat doesn't have a 'HOLD' setting where you can just set a temperature that you want to maintain for a time. Even better, they should provide a hold setting that let's you set the temperature for either preset lengths, like 30 minute or 60 minute increments, or until you decide to change it. Every thermostat I've ever seen has a HOLD setting. Significant fail.

I would like it to work better with whole house humidifiers. I should be able to set the humidity on the nest and the fan turn on to bring house to set humidity.
