They should work harder on Flash player support
I use this app mostly on my iPad. You can now rotate between portrait and landscape without the text and images disappearing, so that's an improvement. This app still cannot handle interactive medical cases, because they require flash player support. You have to head back to fully supported browser such as Internet Explorer or Safari. The case does not even show up in the table of contents on the iPad so you could miss the educational opportunity, unless you check the paper version or go directly to the website. They say they're working hard on alternatives, but they've said that for years. I think that they should work a little harder or get more skilled programmers.

Updates are outstanding
Easy and intuitive to navigate. Downloads are relatively quick. Image and video quality are outstanding on the iPad Air. I may never look at my print issues again. (I had previously written a scathing review back when the videos and images required Flash, which is not supported on Apple mobile devices.)

Readable and well designed
Thus far I enjoy this app and my subscription. Access to everything I want to access is easy and quick, readability is no issue at all, and of course the quality of content is exactly as high as you'd expect. The interface is minimal but highly functional and intuitive.

Useful app with room for improvement
App works great for me--functions as it is supposed to. I would love it if they added a function so that you could easily mark which issues you've already read. It would be nice for that identification to carry over so that if you delete the issue from your library, when it shows up in the store, you can still tell that you've read the issue. That way you won't re-download an issue you've already read.

So much polish
The fit and finish of this app is really something to behold. I should have expected nothing less from NEJM, glad to see their high standards translated to their app.

If you <3 NEJM you need this app. Easy to use and access with alerts to share the newest articles, it's great as an IM resident

I'm really happy to get the NEJM on my iPad. I only wish it was available on the newsstand instead of separate app. But this is a minor point. Overall, the app works perfectly, the price of subscription is lower, trees are saved and it is much more convenient then carrying/ storing a printed journal. Tank you for making it available on the iPad

Very Good, but......
A beautiful and intuitive app with one major missing feature--the ability to highlight and export or the ability at least to open an article in another app to allow highlighting/annotating/exporting. An advantage of digital journals is the ability to consolidate articles and annotations of interest in a common site (Evernote for me) to avoid the anxiety provoking experience of watching multiple unread issues accumulate in the office or now in multiple and unconnected apps on my iPad, please facilitate the connectivity.
