Does the job, BUT ...
Still needs work. I've only added about 10 movies so far on iPad2 and the app has already crashed 4 times. About 3 times the "Shelf View" in landscape view took forever to load (it didn't load). I had the close the app and then open it up again. Many times I wasn't able to easily swipe down to the bottom of a list. The "Find" button was useless, completely blank every time I tried to use it. The Bar Code Scan worked fine although I found it much easier to scan and edit only one movie at a time. When editing "Format" a few times the edit didn't register properly or at all (again had to close and re-open the app). Would like to have the option for "Comments" to appear under the movie title on the "By Title" list. Would like to see some instructions or button descriptions in the Information section. Now I'm gonna be petty. In "Status" I would change the tense from "Wanted" to "Want" because I still want the movie. I would also change "Owned" to "Own" because I still own the movie. Told ya it was petty. This could be a very nice app. It's inexpensive compared to the others but does the job. I'll add more stars when I see some improvements.

Great
MyBoxOffice is a nice little app. There's not a lot to say. It does what it promises and does it smoothly.

Needs user defined values
This app could have been useable... But it is limited to developers view and therefore falls short. Example: Rating category is numeric value 1 to 5, instead of PG, R, G etc. It's clear the developer may allow this in the future, if you hit "more" then click "edit" the categories show up, but nothing happens when you click them. I emailed the developer six months ago, never got a response. I ended up using CollectorZ's Movie Collector. It does everything and is fully configurable. This app shows promise... But not quite ready for general public.

Organized Me!!
I love this app! We have a lot of movies and now no one has to draw the "short straw" of wandering around the cabinets to select one...we just do it from the Ipad! It sorts movies by what you have watched vs. not watched. I used the rating category for the actual movie rating (one star for G, two stars for PG, etc) so we can sort by ratings depending on if our daughter is in on the viewing. It was easy and fast to get all the movies loaded. Thanks!!

Nice app but buggy
It has nice features and the scanner works well, but it won't let me add new titles to my library without deleting it and tapping all the titles individually that I want to add. I have over 200 movies and constantly am adding more so you can understand my frustration. If you fix this I will give you 5 stars but right now can only give 3!

It's a good start
this database has good basic info, but would be nice if it would link each movie to IMDB.com. Also, it is lacking Year, Length and an easy way to add cover art if it wasn't picked up via the "Refresh Cover Art" utility. I was able to email a csv list via the utility, but it locked up the iPad2 repeatedly when I tried to use the "Email backup File" utility. Maybe my database is too big (I have 1600 movies) or maybe it is just the utility. I like the App, but for me, it still needs to be a little more robust.
