jump mechanic needs work
i'm really trying to enjoy this game (it came highly recommended for fans of league of evil), but the jumping is keeping me from playing for more than a minute or so at a time. you often have to hold the jump button in order to reach greater heights, but the character jumps immediately after landing because, for some reason, he just keeps jumping as long as the button is held. this means you're constantly missing jumps (from not holding long enough), or falling to your death (from jumping again, right off a cliff). for a game that require precision timing to achieve the main focus (speed runs), the jumping really ruins it for me. i'm looking forward to a future update when this is addressed because i want to come back to it.

Almost perfect
The only thing that keeps this game from being perfect is the jump control. It's imprecise and slippery on landing, which I can't seem to get used to. I thought maybe it was just me until I saw the other reviews here. It is a fun game, I love the "ghost" selves on replaying levels, but the jumping trouble may be a game breaker for me.

great game that plays really fast and smooth awesome music too ::recommend:: (updated review) the app pic is 8 bit- again awesome thanx guess the developer listens to there fans very appreciated also I've heard a lot of people disliking the auto jump I understand that but I use the default controls and it's needed for record times maybe if you set the auto jump off for the d-pad controls cuz the standard set up is great for me it's what makes it original (and breaking records possible) and I'd hate to see that change keep up the amazing work

Poor controls
The jumping controls need work. Like many other similar games, the length of the jump depends on how long you hold jump for, but you also jump as long as you're holding jump. This means if an obstacle is set up so you touch land at the top of your jump (right before you let go to get a max jump), you'll immediately jump again which makes some obstacles extremely annoying.

Lots of fun
This game is insanely addicting. I was initially hesitant about getting it since there were only 25 levels and I polished off the lite version of the game pretty quickly, but the game increases with difficultly and you can't advance to the later stages without getting a certain number of goals from the previous levels (speed runs, finding the skull, ect). The level designs and music are great, and the throwback graphics are a really nice touch. My only complaint about the game is that I occasionally hit the iPad button when meaning to go left and exit the game (though I prefer the arrow key controls over the other type). Anyway, if you enjoyed the lite version of the game, it's worth checking out the full version.
