Actually Enjoyable
This is the most enjoyable recreation of a Game & Watch handheld game that I've ever played. It's actually fun! I didn't expect that, given the evolution of games since the early eighties. back then, any electronic game, even the worst, was entertaining. This game has the timing and level/difficulty progression down right, and the controls and animation timing is responsive. Little details, like adjusting the angle of the iPad to adjust the alignment of the LCD screen, or touching the LCD to mess up the Liquid in the display, are spot on. My only complaint is that the surrounding graphics aren't that polished, they're good -- but not as good as the other great Game & Watch recreation, Great Leaping Lambretinnis

Monkey Labour
This game is a blast from the past that is truly a labor of love. Monkey Labour will satisfy your nostalgic longing with gameplay and graphics that jump out at you from the past and into your present. The insanely-nuanced presentation of this game boldly displays Dawn of Play’s ridiculously meticulous attention to detail. This game is a “must-have” purchase.

Perfect LCD experience
For anyone who grew up on Tiger Electronics LCD games or Nintendo's Game and Watch series, this app captures that experience to a T. From the LCD shadows on the screen to the button layout to the "instruction book" directions, everything about this app is obviously designed by people who appreciate the history of video games. The gameplay is appropriately simple, move left and right to add logs to the fire and burn the rampaging gorilla. The character movements, the bleeps and bloops, the menu (which is recreated to look like the back shell of an LCD game) all feel directly out of 1986. Look elsewhere for explosions and particle effects - this is a simple game for those who want a trip back to a simpler time and I couldn't enjoy it more.

Brings back memories
I grew up in the 70s and 80s on led handhelds. This is a pitch perfect recreation of those type of games. Maybe not appealing to today's youth but great for us older gamers!
