I love this app! I am technically the youngest person to use moglue! Check out Tikki Tikki Tembo - a story by Zephyr Flanigan on the app store! :)

Wow, a great idea for teachers working with low level students!!!
I saw the potential for this app right away for students who need visual, interactive lessons to do their best learning. Yes, there have been bugs but the company is VERY responsive to e-mail questions, requests, and in acknowledging and fixing bugs! I must admit that the directions are not as detailed as I would have wanted but if you can do PowerPoint or Keynote, this should be a breeze. When I wasn't able to understand a direction the company e-mailed me a mini video. A video is priceless as a time saver. My summer project was to learn how to make a Moglue book. I didn't do that. Instead, I make six books all with original digital music, pictures, and sound effects. It's addictive. Making a Moglue book does take time but as a special education music teacher, it fills a big void. For those of you who aren't very artistic may I suggest that you import pictures as your background for your stories or if you find them too busy, you can create a simple background in PowerPoint by inserting shapes and colors. The ground could be a green rectangle that covers the center of the page down and the blue sky, another rectangle that covers the center of the page upwards. Sure, a yellow circle for the sun and away you go. Save it as a jpg and import it to Moglue. Add your text and characters, let's say a png of your students and they can be featured in the story! You can tell that I LOVE this app for what it can provide students. Don't forget that you need to download the Moglue Builder so you can make your own books on your computer. There is a learning curve but so worth the investment of your time.

Not ready for prime time
When you read the product description, it has testimonials about how great it is to build e-books with their "app". Yet, this app is actually just a library/reader. Gotta wonder what they're thinking. To clarify for everyone: this app is the reader that contains a few interactive books to read. I actually tried to download their Builder, but got an error on their web page. In this app, there are currently some free books. I can't tell you how many, because I started up the showcase one, Hansel and Gretel, and now can't get back to the library. I find no way to get out of that book and back to the Library. Evaluating that one book, Hansel and Gretel, the shortcomings are numerous: no table of contents; no way to jump back to start; no way to restart a narration on a page - it plays one time and that's it; no option to turn off narration so a parent can read instead; lack of editing - on the first page a word was missing that was in the narration; music that was more annoying than complementary to the story; etc. My one-word description would be: amateurish. The app, and the samples in the library, are free, so you can't lose by trying it, but what's there right now is, as the title says, not ready for prime time. If you are looking for polished storybook apps for your children, there are many. My grandkids' favorites are Jack and the Beanstalk (the one from Ayers), Monster at the End of the Book, Rumpelstiltskin (the one that says HD and has 3D in it), PopOut Peter, Cinderella (the one from Nosy Crow), Toy Story 1 (free!), and Weird Al Yankovich's When I grow up. All of these have the polish you would expect on iOS. No doubt this company will improve their offering, but until then it doesn't make the cut to stay on my iPad.

It's not working
I was excited to get this app but then that changed quickly. Every time I click on a new nook to order the whole program shuts down on me. Very disappointing

Doesn't work :-(
I am extremely excited by this platform and this basic idea! However, I have tried everything and cannot get this application to be seen by the desktop version for Mac OS X… I'm running the latest version of Lion, the latest version of iOS, and have both platforms on the same home Wi-Fi network....
