Amazing
In portuguese it's great! The camera isn't work very well, but if you use another app to take the picture, like DocScanner, this app works perfect! Congratulations!

Does not work
I just bought this and have tried several times to convert iPad camera shots & iPad existing photos into text. The results have been unusable gibberish and one completely blank screen. Don't waste your money.

Useless
I've tried several times to extract the text from a photo of a printed page and all I get is rubbish; random strings of text. This app is completely useless.

Good! Update would be nice though
Good. Does what it says it does. Would be nice if it could retain original formatting though instead of making one big chunk paragraph. The OCR works just fine though; however, you'll want to read over it after you've used the OCR because there will be a couple idiosyncrecies here and there probably. But for OCR, this is a good app and I'm not sure I could find anything better

Not perfect but does a great job!
After testing the free version I felt buying the paid version was worth the price to support the developer. I'm using it to scan recipes from a magazine and with the exception of fractions Mobile OCR has been pretty much on the money. The interface is amateurish but it certainly doesn't get in the way of doing the job. It's dead simple to use. Two things I suggest to the developer: 1. Once I click the Use button to use a picture start the conversion right away rather than waiting for me to click the Convert button. 2. Display the line breaks in the preview of the text. They are there but the preview would have me believe I need to do a lot of editing when I really don't.
