Worked great before the broke flexplayer
They fooled me with the bait and switch updates to flexplayer. This version works as a basic media player. Meanwhile, with flexplayer broken this is useless to me - sorry I paid for it. Better choice is airplayer.

Scum. Avoid Persona like the plague.
I paid Persona Software for the full version of Media:Connect a couple of months ago. The agreement at the time was that video was handled by Flex:Player, which was a free add-on. After a complete fiasco with Flex:Player being broken for 2 months, Persona has reneged on their agreement by charging for a "fixed" version of Flex:Player. The true price of streaming video has now doubled from the old agreed cost. Avoid these backstabbers at all cost. It's a pity, because their software has performed best of everything I've tried so far on a iPad 2. mkv video streamed directly from a DLNA server with no transcoding works smoothly, which isn't the case with other apps. That said, Media:Connect still has some bugs related to streaming FLAC audio where it ultimately stops playing and crashes.

Worthless after Flex:Player update
Paid $7.99 for advanced features of Connect. Now, I can't play avi or mkv files over upnp without paying ANOTHER $7.99. No thanks.

Terrible...terrible, fails to function
This app was skittish at best in feeding video from a DLNA source, freezing after only a few minutes of streaming to my iPad. Since being patched, it refuses to recognize any video from media center pc. Never ever worked right. Unloading this family of crappy apps now...

kind of confusing
this obviously works yet there is a lack of easy to understand directions . you have to keep trying to figure it out . it's ok.

Waste of time and money
It doesn't even work or transfer my photos or videos to my PS3. I spent countless hours trying to troubleshoot on the support page with no results.
