Great DLNA app!
I am running TVersity as a server on our home network (A DLNA certified media server) and this app works great! My wife can browse our entire media library and download what she wants to her iPhone, and then take it to the gym, trips, whatever. It does seem to still have a few bugs, so stability isn't completely perfect, but its real close.

This is a rip off app!! They ask you $1 to start, then they ask for $8 right after you load the app!! I stop right after part one, and read the comments about previous buyers. Save your money for another upnp or dlna app.

Does Kind of What it Says
First off, the app does hit the high points of what it advertises it does. It states the $0.99 app is for only audio and it is. Definitely try to get the audio working first before upgrading to the advanced edition. If it works, it works great. I can see all my media servers on the iPhone, and I can see all content available in those media servers. This is where it gets a bit trick and you need to do some testing and thinking if this app is really what you want/need. Music streaming works great and had no issues. Video is the tricky part. It only streams video already converted to iPhone format and only from some media servers. I obviously didn't test all media servers, but I do have Orb, PlayOn, Tversity, Windows Media, PS3 Media Server. As stated, I can see content on all of the servers, even PlayOn, but I could only get the video to stream from Tversity. Orb is able to send iPhone format video, but this app won't work with it yet. Someone in another review stated that they got PlayOn to work great, but that is just ridiculous and untrue. You can see the content, but it won't stream because it is not in the correct format and doesn't transcode the video to an iPhone compatible format. I haven't tested the Media Server part on the iPhone to see how well it works on streaming to another device. My suggestion is to thoroughly think about what you are wanting from the app before you buy it and complain. Streaming audio is perfect, and you can get it to work through 3G if you setup a VPN at you home network and iPhone. The other features are a bit questionable in their usefulness at this point compared to other app. You can stream video from some media servers, but that functionality is better served through other apps that have a dedicated transcoder program to put on your computer.

Use your money to see a movie instead
On the plus side, it's good at discovering servers, and both controller & player functions present the right options. On the minus side, I was unsuccessful playing a single piece of content --- pix, audio, or video--- on the iPhone 3GS. As a controller, I got one pic to display on windows media player after much effort. For my tests, I was using a clean- installed acer R3610 (atom + nvidia ION) loaded up with official DLNA test content (my employer is a DLNA member). I doubt these guys are doing a deliberate rip-off, but their test coverage is pretty poor if they are under the illusion this is a usable app. Unless your content matches what they tested with you will probably get burned.

iPhone User
This app is totally worthless. All I can get it to do is to display photos from my Buffalo LinkStation Live. It doesn't even support MP3 audio format and none of the video format will play, not even the video that you took using you iPhone (.mov) . I want my refund, this app should be free.
