Doesn't work outside of home network
I bought the app, which was $7.99 and more expensive than its competitors, thinking that it provided internet access to your media server. I found out it is a very fancy version of the free apps that only work on local internet. If 8Player had download functionality I wouldn't have looked at this app. Save your money and use the free apps until this has internet access or either airplay or 8player get download functionality.

This freaking thing does not work.
And all the options are in the advanced version which you have to pa (I dont mind that at all if it works)...Right at first start, gave repeat error messages and did not find any music, etc....Worthless piece of S.....

Fast and clean
Connected to my Windows Media server within 30 seconds and listed my entire library of music with album images in about 1 more minute. I was playing songs without lag or having to install an app and connect through my home computer as a portal to the server. This is quick, efficient, idiot proof direct connect to a uPnP media server.

Digital home dream
If your home network devices support DLNA, then this is the app for you. This is an extremely powerful app, of which other apps cannot compete. Regarding other negative posts saying it doesn't support xvid... Please understand what DLNA is and its capabilities before purchasing.
