Great app. This rounds out my techno tool box when I ride. iBike Computer power meter, Garmin 310xt for speed, cadence, etc. now MapMyRide. What more could I want? Wish the nutrition portion was easier to navigate though.

Eh...
App is not smart enough to realize I've stopped traveling for, say, a rest stop or ice cream. Almost every trip I've saved is wrong, one way or another, but usually MMR has, unknown to me, stopped recording for some reason. This weekend's century ride, for instance, was logged at 59 miles. MMR's GPS interpreter is noisy so totally flat rides display at least thousands of feet of climbing. Note about iPhones: Any GPS or routing app will drain an iPhone battery in about 4 hours. Trips longer than that require aux battery packs. MMR is only good for about 60 miles of road riding unless you're packing a mophie or other LiOn power pack.

Great, simple app
This app makes it easy to plan rides & track my progress. It is very straight forward & easy even for a beginner like me.

It's the best workout app I've ever used. One problem is that after I upgraded I now lose the "record" page when I push "start"and have re-start "record" and "start". After 2nd attempt it stays on. Voice cues are excellent as are all additional tools with this app.

Good, but not Great
This app is generally very well done and reasonably well thought out. I want to like it more than I actually like it. Several issues: (1) with the phone mounted on the bars and using the app to follow a route like a nav system in a car, the map image does not rotate on the screen to orient itself to one's direction of travel or heading the same way a car nav system does. Google maps for iPhone rotates on screen to orient to one's heading, so we know it CAN be done. But I don't believe any other cycling app rotates the map, so this app is shooting par on this issue. (2) sync between the app and data in the desktop application is a little quirky. E.g., I deleted a route in the desktop app and attempted to refresh the iPhone app, but the deleted item was still in the iPhone app. (3) for use on a bike in daytime, the map is too monochromatic. E.g., secondary and tertiary roads are white and the background is light grey or off white, so there's not enough contrast between the colors of the road and the background to be able to see clearly on a glossy iPhone screen when the sun is out. Fix those three things, and I'd give this app a 5+.
