Was excited, but...
I was very excited to give this a try, but I have two kids. I don't see any way to add a second child. How can I let one kid use it and not the other? Please add functionality to add additional kids, or if it's already there, it's too hard to find. I'd also like to be able to customize an invite, especially if I want to invite a friend's kids to correspond with my kids. I can invite the adult, but I have no way of seeing what the invite says or adding a note to say, "This is a way our kids can email each other." The tools for kids to compose messages are a lot of fun and easy to use. So far it's good, but definitely not great.

Good idea but...
We were excited to try this but had great difficulty trying to set this up on multiple ipads so our kids could email Grandma. Between email difficulties & confusion over how to set it up we couldnt get it to work & gave up.

Good idea, but buggy
I am looking for an email account for my 4 year old because I travel for work a bit and thought she would like to send and receive emails. I chose it because a regular email account for a young child would be difficult to master. I love the concept, but it's a little slow and buggy. For example, it frequently sends multiple emails even though I only hit send one time. Frequent error messages that my connection has been lost. General slowness. Some recommendations: The interface for the child should start with an icon for their inbox, and the pictures of their contacts. The way it is now, is a little counter intuitive. Consider building it as a client for other email accounts, like gmail (might help with some of the general slowness I'm seeing). Have it only display emails from the approved contacts list. This would also allow the sending and receiving of videos and other items that maily currently doesn't appear to be capable of. I would have loved to send my daughter a video of some of the things I saw on my trip.

My daughter loves this app - it makes it so much fun for her to be able to e-mail family members. I have friends that have signed up their kids as well - and the kids would love to be able to e-mail one another ... however, we don't see any e-mail address where the kids would be able to do this? I assume then that this is set up as a piggy back upon my email with an app inside that allows my kid(s) to generate pix or colored drawings etc. It would be nice to see that function - where they get an @maily dot com e-mail that would allow for this? Perhaps in a future update? That would give the parents an option to approve of course - and the dashboard maybe could be placed as a true dashboard on the pc as well? Otherwise, my daughter loves it - she loves sending me drawings ALL DAY LONG (okay that may be a drawback to some *lol* but I enjoy it!) Some have had a bit of trouble responding/replying to her but we found that had more to do with the most updated java/flash players on their pc's and got those kinks worked out on their end. I'd love to give the children an option as we do with templates on responding - for them to have in creating because they (kids) love animations! Perhaps even make more to choose from in future updates or have themes (similar to an Incredimail type layout/format). Enjoy introducing your child(ren) to e-mail though! It's fun and is a teaching opportunity about e-mail and what is right/wrong and will help as you one day reach that age where you do set up a controlled e-mail under your identity (unless future updates could allow age limits and certain protocols/restrictions/settings to do that as well) The future and places this app could go are limitless! We'll be along for the ride (or mail I should say)!

Terrible iPhone experience
We put this on our iPad and iPhone and it was a bad experience on both. Of the 125 apps that I have bought over the years, this is the first that completely falls short of an apple experience. I don't know how it got into the store. It was recommended on the twit networks Social Hour. I don't get it. Does everyone think the concept is so cute that it doesn't need to actually be tried to accept it or give it a good review?
