I don't like it
They should have pictures for each model. I rather go to AppleHistory.com

Just essential for anyone who works on Macs. Not just for Mac afficianados.

Awesome product; good reference
Love this app...but I'd like to see pics of the various computers rather than the generic Mac Classic icon. Otherwise, A+!

Data good features lacking
Needs pictures of the models, search, and some help for the user in identifying just which aluminum 14" PowerBook it is (for example) as apple models are so similar

If you love Macs, this is a must have!
This is a wonderful reference/historical tool for those who love Macs. Regardless of your technical expertise it's great to have. I agree with many of the reviewers though, it would be nice if the actual images of the products were shown rather than an icon. Additionally, I would love it if I could tag the items in the listings that I actually own or have owned. It'd be nice to use this app as a way to keep up with all my Apple products especially since Apple keeps pushing out newer versions. I do also like that the startup sound is also in the program. So, if actual images and the ability to tag what you own was there it'd be more than 5 stars. Despite it being a great free app, without the minor enhancements, it's a very solid 4 stars!

So handy to have it now on iPhone.
I've used Mactracker for years and found it so useful for checking specs without having to search all over Apple's web site. Now I don't even have to fire up my Mac to use it. Also it's well implemented for the iPhone: even the startup chimes are there.
