Nice game, worth playing
This is a nice example of the castle defense genre; at least that's what I think this type of game is called, where you have a wave of enemies from one side that you are trying to stop. It gets a little repetitive but it has some unique elements, namely the constantly moving or fighting main character, and a bit of personality. Decent upgrade system and difficulty curve. You could do worse for the price, so check it out! Also the developer is working hard to improve, balance, and expand the game with a commitment to no IAP.

fun if repetitive
Finished the game - you spend 90% of it moving all the way right through the trees and then all the way left (rinse/repeat) collecting currency which is unthinking and isn't that great. Unit selection and upgrading is fun though and kept me playing. Theme is cool, graphics are nice, bugs present though (crocs constantly stop attacking once they break through- monkeys and healing reindeer also on occasion stop early - if 1 healer stops the others pile behind him rendering them near useless. Fortunately this seems to happen more when you are winning (maybe greater numbers triggers it- I'm not sure cause I didn't fully test but neither did developer) It would be better if currency (bananas) could be automatically obtained and your character had a stronger auto attack. As it is its best to hardly look at the battle but every couple minutes if you have destructive powerup- but keep moving to pick up bananas - left then right repeat times infinity- sort of like tower defense if towers didn't have to be placed and you had to spend the whole game turning a virtual crank.

Tower defense, strategy and side-scroller combo
A clever combination of many different genres, it really feels like the designer understands what makes iPad gaming unique. Also happy to see a game with this much choice and content that doesn't punish exploration with trips to the in game shop to pay for unlocks. Zombieville and PvZ fans will feel right at home with the humor and aesthetic, and there's a lot of content for the price. Five stars!

Good but...
Great game, and I hate to whine, but gosh it's crazy hard too early. I guess the point is to farm acorns once you're stuck, but you don't get many once you completely clear a level and go back for more acorns. It's also quite frustrating to have to farm so much so early in the game. I'll probably wait to see if its patched, which is a shame because this was quite fun at first :(

Good but over powered
It's a great game but levels get way too hard I think lumberwhack defend the wild should be a little bit more easy there should be a guide for how much damage and Heath the lumber jacks have and this game should have partice for testing new idea and why can't we redo levels and get acorns from them

Good game
So now with the fix my skills lose power??? Very frustrated with this game. It's fixed but animals don't spawn as quick etc. The game got harder but no reward for already playing it.
