Love the app but update unstable on iPhone 3G
Won't launch successfully half the time. Instead it dumps me back to the home page contianing the app icon. Does same thing, also half the time, when clicking on a flare summary instead of giving me flare details. When it works it's great but the update makes that problematic. I did write the developer today. 12-March-2009

A Very Useful Little App
It saves having to go to the Heaven-Above site, log-in and check out what flares are scheduled for that night at your location. Observing these flares has always been an enjoyable experience, but remembering to do so on clear nights has been a deterrent. With this app you can make it a habit to check the schedule each night. An app well worth getting.

So I havn't yet seen one yet because it's been too cloudy but once I do I am going to be soooo happy! LOL Cool for all the info it tells so you know where to look in the sky. Definately workh the .99 cents!

Great app!
The Iridium satellite system continues to be a technical marvel, and from what I know, they have finally become a business success as well. An Iridium phone works anywhere on the planet's surface - even in polar regions, at sea, or on the top of a mountain. Visible flares are a wonderful byproduct as the satellites are only about 480 miles away, and travel around the planet in 100 minutes - or about 10 minutes horizon to horizon. This app does a great job of telling you where to look to find them - and it works outside at night rather than the website! Great job.

Great App, request for update
Very cool, I had thought about something like this after I downloaded Star Walk. Your app is a wonderful adjunct for stargazers out here. My only requests: Make the app remember my time zone (it always defaults back when I exit the app and I have to reset the time zone data; and - I will echo the earlier request I saw - can you add ISS sighting data as well? That would make this a 5* app without a question! Thanks!!!

Matches data on website-- but it KNOWs where you are--Predict 'shooting' stars!
i have been using the Heavens-Above website for years to locate Iridium flares--'shooting' stars. This app saves having to input your location. It is fun to predict a shooting star at an outdoor, evening event. Do it, it is fun. But make sure your watch is set to the exact time--these flares only last about 5 seconds but become as bright, or brighter than a planet. I am so glad this is now an app. Keep up the good work. Do another App that shows the International Space Station and Space Shuttle passes.
