Great client if you really use IRC.
Multiple server and room support is good, and this appears to be the only IRC client for iPad that doesn't time out after 10 minutes. So if like me you have a lot of things gong on on your iPad, and do a lot of multitasking, this is the only IRC for you. Why in the name of heck anyone would force a timeout after no more than 10 minutes baffles me. It's the thing that makes other software like Rooms and Colloquy a pain to use.

Multichannel Multiwindow
Nice autoident and chat without typing a command. Could use customization features though. For example streamlining server messages, removing time stamps and the option to combine Windows.

sweet
a little difficult to set up if you don't know what you're doing. once it gets set up, it's perfect!

Handy & Simple
I'm pretty much brand new to IRC. I need to use it, as of January 2011, monthly for a business meeting. I found this app great for my needs. I attended and participated in a meeting of nearly 90 minutes with no trouble: didn't disconnect once. I didn't try multitasking and didn't let the phone "time out" so I can't say how that would work out. If you need a way to connect on the fly this app will serve you well. Even being a novice at this I had it up and running in about three minutes, including surfing to find out how to enter the server name I needed to use.

Decent and free
Considering it's free, it's a great app to have on hand for when you want to chat on the go. The recent update allowing many standard commands was great, but the fact that they weren't there from the start is annoying, and /me commands (and probably more, though that's the big one) still aren't supported, and the way they're handled from others doesn't seem to retain the feeling of an action. Still, not a bad app.
