Missing the fundamentals
For such a long-lived app, this is really missing some basic features. No way to auto add podcasts to Up Next. No way to continuously play any playlist besides Up Next. No way to sort Up Next. No geofencing to download new episodes when I get wifi. No way to resume a lot of failed downloads from when I walked out of wifi. It's just a overall frustrating and miserable experience. God knows why this app is popular. Style over substance, is my guess.

Sync no longer works. Poor support.
Sync stopped working. 2-3 days to get a response from dev.

Wonderful update
I really like the update for iOS 7. While the price may feel steep, I do understand that the developers need to make a living from the app sales. The app looks great on the iPhone and works great too. Sync worked flawlessly for me. After signing up for an account (not iCloud) I was able to effortlessly pull all my subscriptions onto my iPad. It even remembers the last played point within a podcast episode, which is nice and expected with sync. Great work guys, keep up the good work!

Major Fail!!!
Two big features of this version -- syncing and new interface. The new interface is fine. But sync worked one time. Hasn't worked since. Have followed all instructions on the firm's support FAQ and have had multiple email exchanges with support staff. Absolutely no productive results. They just keep pointing me back to the FAQ, which is out of date (with version 3 details). Very very poor upgrade. Unbelievably poor support.
