I find iMuscle to be absolutely brilliant. First, it does everything it says it will do. They have managed to pack an astonishing amount of content into a relatively svelte sub 200mb file. Each muscle group has sections dedicated to primary and secondary exercises as well as stretches, all with full animation. The fact that this is all on your device with no internet connection is a huge plus (especially for all those basement gym dwellers with poor service). Setting up your own workout is straightforward and simple. The attention to detail is evident throughout the app. I bought this on sale for $1.99 and running it on my 3gs 32gb. This is the type of application and programming that really makes you enjoy owning an idevice. Suggestions to the talented 3D4Medical team - The animations and ability to create your own workout are amazing. Why not further combine the two? Would it be possible to hit start workout, and then have the app go through each animation from your workout with the correct number of reps? The ability to have multiple workouts is great, but could you add a 'fitness routine' type calendar? Some people split up their specific workouts for different days (ie back and biceps on monday, chest and triceps on tuesday, etc). The ability to create multiple workouts and have them all set up in a synced monthly or weekly fitness routine schedule would be awesome. It's clear you made the effort to show the correct and safe animations for each exercise. Would it possible to add a voice guide without making the file size too big (say, beyond 500mb) ? This would further enhance the suggestion above. The user could load their preset workout, put their headphones on, and be guided through the workout verbally? This is a great app, and a steal at $1.99; this is a premium app and would still be a bargain at $4-$6. If you could ever implement the changes above, it would easily be a $10-$15 app. Great work!

Buggy with a bad interface
I really wanted to like this app, I love the concept but the execution is awful. My complaints are two fold. First, it forces you to close all other apps down to use or it WILL crash. Even if you do close them down it will most likely crash anyway. It has serious bugs that it needs to fix for a better recommendation. Two, the interface is super hard to use. Clunky and hard to navigate. I found myself extremely frustrated trying to select the pins for exercises. Like I said, I want this to be a great and helpful app but in it's current form it isn't. Don't spend your money on this.

Good specific app to target muscle groups
i find this app very helpful. If you have an injury or an area you are trying to avoid during a workout, use the app to help guide your workout to avoid that area.

Get this app!!!
Get this app if you are into strength training. It can't get never better than this to get into and see your muscles. The navigation is very intuitive and definitely improves strength training perspective. Finally, the exercise animation and associated details/comments is crown of this app. Get this app!!!

Worth the money!!
A fantastic app that is beneficial to exercise novices and those seeking a more serious workout at the gym. I can't describe how much this app has improved my weightlifting routine by allowing me to sharply focus on each muscle group. Although I"m not a serious exercise freak, I can say that I now have a higher level of understanding when it comes to human anatomy. I love the animated exercises and detailed info that this app provides--on practically every muscle group! In the past I've used a free app called BodyBuilding which features video demonstrations. But nothing can compare to this app's cool 3D images. iMuscle is worth every penny...
