It works...but
The app works ok and does a good job of finding iDine restaurants. But it has one bad bug and one problem area. The bug: I cannot log in to iDine within the app (although I can login to the iDine website via Safari). I can find restaurants with the app, but I cannot determine their award criteria. Not a problem for hometown restaurants, but a definite irritant in an unfamiliar town. I sent an email to customer support 8 days ago and got NO response. Not good. I think I will lower my initial rating from 4 to 3 stars! The problem area: The restaurant search function is weak. It works ok if you know a zip code. But when searching by city, it doesn't give matches and suggestions for partial names, unlike many other apps. I only got it to work with complete, correct, city and state entries. This will be a great app when it matures a little.

Great app
This is a great app. Now when out and looking for a place to eat I can look for a place that offers a discount. Well done IDine.

Previous reviewer misunderstood this app. It is not a restaurant search, it is a search for restaurants participating in the Rewards Network iDine program. Existing members of the program can find restaurants in their area which participate in iDine. I am a member and this app is very handy when you're not in your hometown (where I know all of the Rewards Network restaurants). East to use and find a participating restaurant so I can earn my points, etc.
