Great free app for finding restaurants and rewards
Whether you are looking for a local restaurant, or one while traveling, the idine app is super fast and easy. Great selection of restaurants and earn rewards with a registered credit card. No need for tacky coupons!

Misleading information
So the app is great for finding restaurants, but from what customer service at iDine tells me their information is not always up to date. Case in point I found a nice Greek restaurant on the plan and spent $130 for dinner thinking of course I'd get the 15% rebate advertised on iDine. Well it turns out that the restaurant had been deactivated for several months at the time I ate there even though the app showed them active. Adding insult to injury the restaurant joined back again 3 days after my dining experience and customer service was only willing to give me a measly $7.00 dining credit. Seemed pretty cheap, but what added insult to injury was the obligatory "I'm sorry for any inconvenience you've been caused" delivered by the csr rep. If you were really sorry you'd fix the problem and give me the full credit I've earned. My thoughts are if you're going to promote an interactive app you'd better be sure it gives the right information. Otherwise don't launch and expect customers to "cross check the information on the website" as Tge csr rep suggested. Kinda defeats the purpose of the app don't ya think?

REWARDS NETWORK not IDine
As others have complained, I downloaded IDine and could not log in using my airline account information, only to learn after 2 phone calls to the Rewards Network folks that I had downloaded the wrong app. IDine (this app) is only for IDine members. If you have an account with an airline or other dining rewards partner you need to download the Rewards Network app (RN Dining). Once I did that and selected my airline I logged in with no problems. BTW, American Airlines is in there now, and the app works fine on my new IPhone 4 w/ ios 4.0.1. So far the app seems to work pretty well, thought I agree with Liam09 that the search feature should be more robust, typing in part of the city name should bring up a list from which you can select the city you want, but I do like the 'current location' feature. My main complaint is that the customer service folks at Rewards Network don't seem to be well informed. On my first phone call I was told to delete and reload the app, when I asked what I should do if/when this didn't fix the problem I was told "I don't know, I've never had anyone call back". Hunh??? I pointed out that that was probably because folks were deleting the app and giving up. The solution didn't work and I started to just delete the app and move on, but decided to give them one more try. The next CS rep I got tried the same song and dance, when I persisted she called the tech support folks who clarified the situation. So, decent program (so far), mediocre customer service unless you persist. Bon appetit!

AAdvantage
Works pretty good, however, it doesn't have the AAdvantage program in the list of programs, WHY?
