Much improved performance
I have an iPhone 4 and thanks to ios7 it is now super slow. iBooks sucked, but this latest update boosts performance at least 100%. Now if Apple would just do that for the rest of ios7...

They destroyed iBooks
This was the most beautiful app apple ever designed, but they had to abandon what was once a perfect application and my favorite one and strip it of everything personal or aesthetically pleasing and make it look as boring, dull and impersonal as possible. Why?? Flat and white isn't always better than skeomorphic. iBooks felt like reading a book, now it's like browsing a PDF. Horrible job apple. I'm so disappointed I left my automatic app update on.

Not liking the new look much.
I'm not entirely opposed to change, but I am opposed to change that makes my eyes bleed. It's not so much that I hate the new aesthetic entirely(though I definitely do), as much as it is that I miss the book/library motif. Not to mention, I can't see it making reading in low-light any easier... I also dislike the new way that pages look. I much preferred to have all of the text on the same level, where my eyes would naturally drift back up to the top of the screen when I finished one page and moved to another. Perhaps an easy fix for both of these problems would be interchangeable themes?
