Haunting, well made adventure game
This moody, dark and challenging point and click adventure game has it all......The dark and dramatic visuals, somber music and hints of a terrifying secret within an old and decaying mansion. You are introduced to the full game through this very well made demo. As you move from scene to scene, new pieces of the puzzle are thrown at you. Being a huge, once grand mansion, with secret passage ways and what one suspects will be horrific torture chambers, you can look forward to 13 rooms to explore each filled with various puzzles and challenges. In this lite version you have to get inside to escape the thunderstorm - but once inside it slowly dawns on you that you are trapped, and not alone!! Keep your eyes open, pick up the clues and connect the dots as you attempt to solve the secret of haunted mansion Pros- beautiful, detailed artwork that builds up the scare factor Music that adds to the scary atmosphere with apt sound effects Challenging puzzles, that take a while to figure out - you have to think outside the box! This short demo introduces you to What appears to be a strong plot and storyline The game is being released in all major European languages Cons- initially a bit clichéd, but then it's hard to build on a horror story without having all the expected elements The dialogue can be a little more polished There should be ability to pinch and zoom You can only enter and leave a scene in one direction - would be nice if I could move onto the next scene in either left or right side All in all,the cons, in my opinion are very minor, superficial and cosmetic flaws that can get fixed in future releases. The important thing is this is one of the best adventure games I've played in a while and am DEFINITELY going to get the full version.

Point and click adventure with scary vibes
This lite version of the full game is excellent in its own rights - but just too short! I REALLY wish it was longer but it does its job - it is a tantalizing introduction to the plot and your character - You will definitely want to buy the complete game when it gets released. The introduction to the haunted manor is clichéd - a grand old derelict building in a thunderstorm....But do you have what it takes to enter? Once inside the story takes a twist as you must now escape from the house before its horrors engulf you. You must use wit, skill, imagination and a bit of luck to solve the challenging puzzles as you move from room to room. Overall there will be 13 room with 5 locations. In this version you must escape the first - if you do- you may be one of the lucky 1,000 to win the full game!! The moody music and somber artwork all add to the spooky experience. Puzzles are interesting and fresh. The sly little jabs when you click on something wrong are pretty witty but as mentioned ad nauseum the english needs to be polished up a bit. But to me personally it did not detract from enjoying the game. My only grouse is that it's specific for the iPhone /iPod so image gets grainy on the iPad. I hope the Devs bring out a universal version as there's nothing as satisfying as playing a thrilling adventure point & click on the magnified iPad screen. this is definitely one of the best I've played in a while - and I shall be one of the first lining up to buy the complete version

Moody, Dark and Left Me Wanting More
The mood and ambiance of the art used in this title are great at setting the appropriate tone for this title. Not only do the graphics create the atmosphere intended in this title, but the the music does a great job at maintaining this eerie tone. Here we only have a couple of rooms to inspect, but the effort is obviously apparent within seconds of powering the game up. This title is more of a tech/game demo for their release soon to come at the end of September. They have been active on Toucharcade forums, and noted their release of this full title near the end of this month - something defintely worth keeping in mind. With abundant clues and items to inspect, you already get an idea of how much content the whole game coming will really carry. My only complaint thus far (keep in mind this is just a trial/preview of the whole game) is that the English isn't 100%. I would like to see the translation improved for the future, as it will do much better to immerse the player in this game. Looking forward to the end of this month to check out the whole title.

Well-made game!
Love puzzle game like this. Though it's a little bit short, but this game will be awesome after the updates come out! PS: Looking forward to have more interesting and complicated puzzles! ^ ^

Off to a great start!
Haunted Manor (lite) is the intro to an immersing puzzle/mystery game by MG Mobile Apps. It's coupled with a nice blend of ambient background sound, very good graphics (though mostly fixed), and some dark humour (liked the teddy bear the electric chair) which enhances the overall experience. This version is a good starting point to the full game
