Almost better than the original Halftone
The overall interface is improved over the original Halftone, but I really miss the ability to create comic book style "halftones" from my pictures. I keep the original Halftone app on my phone just for that purpose, but wish I didn't have to.

What happened to halftone?
I really liked the first version of the app. This one has some nice effects but they dropped the "halftone" effect which is weird considering the app name. Would probably not have bought this one if I had known.

how to utilize it
Hope this helps! First, this app does not take pictures and cartoonizes them! There is no real cartoon drawings preload. This app is great when , like someone else said, paired with a cartoon camera like paper camera or toon camera. I personally use both. Problems loading a picture into the app, I have had, I can't find them on my camera roll. I found that using the task manager (tapping twice on home button) to kill the app and then re opening has fixed the problem, maybe it is just mine. It is not perfect yet but it is still worth it. And you can make it perfect utilizing other apps! Hope for more updates

Awesome!
The creative possibilities of this program are endless! When uses with other programs like Paper Camera, you can achieve a real comic book look.

Does not "comic book-ize" your photos
All it does is add captions. Screenshots are misleading.
