Buyer beware
If you intend to buy this because you enjoyed the previous game, then be aware that unlike the first game, this game is Heavy on IAP. You can no longer build new ship freely as long as you have the resources. You need Blueprints to build a new ship, and you'll need to pay again for each blueprint through IAP. The 0.99 'introductory' price doesn't feel like promotion at all. The low price feels like it is there to entice you to buy, and then spend more via IAP to be able to enjoy the game.

I want to like this game.
This game has a feel close to freelancer in game play... However I am finding that the game only opens up if you spend a ton on IAP. For example I cannot find a way to upgrade by ship without credits, and I can't find a way to get credits without spending additional money... Maybe I'm missing something, but throw us a bone here. I should be able to enjoy many things including upgrading ships for the cover fee. Even if they aren't the best in the game.

Eve Online semi-clone
If you are an Eve Online fan, this is about as close you will get to it on IOS. It is fun, and beautiful. It does have its fair share of bugs though. Not a deal breaker though. I do wished they stayed away from iap's though as it cheapens the game. Those whining about difficulty...practice. Its a game...expect it to be challenging. If you want an easier game there is angry birds.

Well done
Deep game. Excellent visuals. Decent story and voices. Good, yet eccentric music. Occasionally unresponsive controls and steep learning curve makes it difficult at first, but the game can be enjoyed and fully appreciated without IAPs if you keep patience. Enjoy it, I certainly do!

I gave it one star because they actually made a game, which is something I can't do. I only gave this game 5 min before deleting it, I thought the story and voices just ridiculous and insincere, laughable, then after visiting a space station on one end of the galaxy and visiting another light years away and finding the same exact station, I just sat there thinking, why am I doing this, nothing to see nothing to do, oh and the fighting was the same as a ww1 dog fight, and the dialogue sounded like the voices from west side story. . ..
