Kind of lame
It doesn't even have the French translation for "you're welcome" on it. And I purchased the voice translation but it won't install because I don't have WiFi access on my iPhone? Oh, yes I do!! And there's no way to install it via iTunes on my PC, apparently, since it WON'T DO IT. I wouldn't suggest anyone else buy this app.

Worth the price - barely
For two bucks it's adequate. At a minimum, words should include part of speech as many English nouns and verbs are the same spelling. Many common words are missing, phrases badly translated and so on. I can make use of it only because I have a working knowledge of French - if I didn't, it would not be of much use. I think the standard for smartphone dictionaries is the Oxford, but unfortunately the French - English version is not availably for iPhone.

OK, but...
Reasonably good vocabulary for the price but still could stand a more extensive one.

Nice interface and good value
This has a nice interface and you get a lot for the price. For single words you can use the built-in database, which also has some example phrases for common words. For longer translations, it has an interface to Google Translate. There's also an in-app purchase for sound (if you need it).
