Want to add extra items to the shopping list
Love this app but it would extremely helpful to be able to add additional items to the shopping list instead of recipe ingredients only. Having two lists is just not convenient.

Bait and switch
I have held off buying the sync function just because I wasn't sure I would use the app enough. After wanting to put my wife's recipes somewhere rather than binders, I decided to take the plunge. Well for 1.99 you get to sync the recipes you mark as favorites and cook books you buy, but you cannot sync the personal recipes you put in your recipe box. Well, if you sync my recipe box then you sync the entire box. Don't waste your money until they update the software. Time to find something better!

Favorites are gone
I'm not happy that my favorites are gone. If I pay the additional $1.99 am I guaranteed they will come back? I don't trust it.

DO SOMETHING AND READ REVIEWS EPICURIOUS!!!!!
Update May 28: i have the premium app. I called and emailed Conde Nast again!!!!!! They still do not reply. I am mad. My personal recipes are gone and the 15 cookbooks i bought don't show the pics either!! You pay a yearly amount and then they charge you a second fee to sync your recipe box to your iPad. Ok. I accept that. I bought 15 cookbooks - $305. I had over 400 recipes on my iPad, about 150 were my personal recipes. When I tried to sync from the website to my iPad, it just spun and spun and then froze. I have emailed Epicurious at least 10 times. I have written and called Conde Nast 2 times. Not one replies. No help. Nothing. Why doesn't anyone help us here? They obviously do not give a singe iota what we think. Oh yeah…none of the photos from the paid cookbooks show up in the recipe box. What's that about? IS ANYONE FROM EPICURIOUS READING THIS?

No option to review recipes
I like the numerous recipe type choices, "party, now they have graduation and fathers, prob cuz its end of May. Shopping list lets you check of what u need from the list and email it if u like. Can't rate the recipes after trying them as far as I can see. If u have to go to ur comp then the app is missing a significant component of why I choose recipes. I like to know what people thought and like to share my input too.

Bye bye recipes after update
After losing my favorites list TWICE after updating, I decided to not update anymore. Today I updated a separate app and then found my favorites to again be GONE. So lame. Great recipes but what's the point if they keep disappearing?
