Not improving
I don't understand the problem people are having. It's never crashed on me. It's a free app. It's going to have ads. I never lost my favorites during upgrades. Easy to mail shopping list. Would be nice to be able to add reviews of recipes. I use this as my primary source of recipes but other sites seem to be increasing their recipies but I haven't seen any new ones here for a long time It needs the ability to print rather than all the sharing options. I should have yo open in the browser to print Also the search capability does not work well.

Love!
I love this app! I can search for recipes based on dietary considerations, course or other search terms. Then I can add the recipe to my shopping list. If I am making more than one recipe, it sorts all the ingredients by grocery aisle to facilitate getting the items. Only downside is that you can't sync the app with your online Epicurious account without paying. But you can work around that though.

Same problem as everyone else. Won't load. Very frustrating.

Lost favorites
My favorites disappeared once, so I spent many hours going through thousands of recipes to find them again. Now they've disappeared for the second time and I could cry. This app is obviously maintained by incompetent morons.

Use to love it
I've used this app for years, first on my iPhone and last 1.5 years on my iPad. Worked great until the last update. My favorites are a mess. When sorted by most recent, recipes from a year ago appear . . .cant find anything anymore. Please just fix it back the way it was. For those wanting the annoying ads to disappear . . .there are no ads in the premium version. When this latest favorites snafu is fixed, I'd recommend the upgrade. In future builds, I'd like the ability to review recipes within the ap. using a browser on your site via an iPad is buggy . . .making reviewing recipes a pain in the patootie.

Where
I like the app and would rate it much higher if the promised support for user uploaded recipes were there. I like having my favorite family recipes available on my phone, but until this feature is added, the app is not nearly as good as it could be. Come on, Epicurious!
