Love it!
I love this app. I use it ANYTIME I have people over or go to dinner. The search is amazing. Sometimes I don't really have an idea what I want to make but search functionality of the app always find my a good recipe. The app consistently has amazing recipes.

For the gourmet chef only
Unless you are a true chef, you are not going to have a quarter ingredients or understand the cooking terms used (like pommade or terrine). Granted, many are easy, but there are a lot that are outside of standard American cooking. Not to mention the app crashes often and the home icon grays out and doesn't work. Waste of time unless you tend to keep things like "ancho" chiles and rhubarb laying around.

Updates erase favorites.
Recipes are great, but when they update the app you lose all of your favorites. Use the app for recipes but you will have to save recipes in a different app.

Want to add extra items to the shopping list
Love this app but it would extremely helpful to be able to add additional items to the shopping list instead of recipe ingredients only. Having two lists is just not convenient.

Bait and switch
I have held off buying the sync function just because I wasn't sure I would use the app enough. After wanting to put my wife's recipes somewhere rather than binders, I decided to take the plunge. Well for 1.99 you get to sync the recipes you mark as favorites and cook books you buy, but you cannot sync the personal recipes you put in your recipe box. Well, if you sync my recipe box then you sync the entire box. Don't waste your money until they update the software. Time to find something better!
