Latest fix is screwing everything up
Since the app update, the saved recipes are not showing up correctly. The ads are blocking the recipes as well with no scrolling functions. Please fix it soon!

Latest fix isn't a fix
Recipe title still missing from my Favorites List. When I review those recipes, the screen is all wonky, covering up the top right icons, including add to Shopping List. What's worse, when you do add those items to your Shopping List, the titles and ingredients don't show up. Just blank spaces appear in the recipe list. I depend on this app to plan meals. PLEASE FIX ASAP.

Disappointed!
I agree with previous reviews. I used this app so I could sync my own personal recipes and found that I no longer can. Also, the recipes I did have prior to attempting to reinstall had titles that kept disappearing. I loved this site, but unfortunately will have to find a new one. Waste of money to sync.

Still broken
This was my most used app but the recipe titles are disappearing even after the update. Please fix this so I can love it again. Not happy

Can't sync own recipes
What's the point of adding your own private recipes online if you can't sync them to the ipad? Waste of $1.99 and very misleading.

Has potential, needs attention
The Epicurious app could be one of the best kitchen aids, marrying a great database of cuisine with the versatility of the iPad or iPhone. Unfortunately, little attention has been placed on the design or stability of the app. Until it receives updates to fix the functionality, the features of this app are somewhat irrelevant. I would be fully willing to pay for this app if it removed the ads and resulted in bug fixes. I hope others would agree with me. The first notable issue is the poor touch response. The app has a series of buttons along the bottom to navigate its main features. These icons are extremely unresponsive. Next is the extremely buggy syncing feature. Users can sync to their recipe box as maintained through the website. However, recipes frequently stop functioning in the recipe box on the app. Further, the most useful feature of the app is that it automatically takes the ingredients of any recipe, or several recipes, and generates a shopping checklist. Unfortunately, the shopping list function has become buggy as well, with little success getting any ingredients to load. The app has the ability to display the recipe in either the standard view or a landscape mode which prevents the iPhone from falling asleep and puts the steps into larger text, easy to reference in the midst of stirring or chopping. Once the functionality bugs are corrected, the Epicurious app should return to being an extremely useful tool.
