som of these recipes can be rendered healthy by reducing the amounts of all three of the following: sugar, fats and sodium.

Favorite recipes deleted
I enjoyed this app; it made grocery shopping a little easier. Then one day I opened it to find all my favorite recipes deleted. I've waited a bit to see if this was a temporary glitch but it seems permanent and is a huge disappointment.

All favorites were deleted!!
I've used epicurious app for a while now accumulating and finding recipes that I had in my recipe box (so I didn't have to "sync" and pay $1.99. A couple days ago, I was at the grocery store trying to figure out what I needed for one of my go-to recipes and all my favorites are gone. Just gone. Totally stinks!! I hate this app for it but will probably continue to use it.

Please keep trying epicurious!
Epicurious content is still great but this app needs work. First, you can't sort recipe searches by rating -- come on! The best part of epi is making only recipes with 4 forks and 100+ ratings. Second, reviews are limited to 10 reviews ... The other best thing about epi is reading through 25 reviews to see trends and find out the best ways to tweak recipes. After using the app for a month or so ive found myself just going to epicurious.com on my phone instead of using the app.

Love it
I love finally being able to get rid of all of my clipped recipes from Bon Appetit and others from over the years and have all of those recipes electronically. Yes, I could do it before on the Web, but having access to the recipes on my iPad is fantastic. Much easier to carry that to the kitchen than either the laptop or the binder of recipes. Oh, and I love the ability to create a shopping list. Very cool. Thank you for making this app. I do wish that I could sort my recipes by type--chicken, pork, vegetable, salad, soup...whatever category. That would make it super easy to find things. (I guess you can do this on the website, but adding that functionality to the app would be great.) I have never had any problems finding a recipe or syncing my recipe box. I think it's fantastic! And for what, $2, you have all of epicurious' recipes on your iPad/Phone? Beats buying the magazines!

Doesn't sync your own recipes
...or recipes uploaded by users. But they take your $2 anyhow and leave it buried on their website that this doesn't work. Why bother?
