Great!
It's a Roland Juno for iOS! Needs portamento and random on Arpeggiator and midi channel select! Great app!!

Meh
It's alright. Fun to mess around with when you're bored.

Useful, but needs a couple of features to be great
Useful for noodling - similar to a 101 and in fact better than the TAL baseline on desktops in my opinion. Feature requests: - glide or portamento - accented note with a filter boost and a decay time adjustment post trigger based on last note played like the famous 'other' analog synth out there - accent via keyboard velocity or key touch - cut and paste - HP filter resonance independent of other LPF - filter Adsr - after touch to VCF or key slide

Nice when it works
I have had this app for a few days. I took a chance on the app after reading the previous reviews. They were right, the app quits upon launching. I found that if I shut down the iPad2, restart it, and go right into this app it opens and works fine. When it works the app is great! It has a lot of nice features and is fun to play with. But, I found if I have already been using other apps, then try to launch this one, it opens up for a second then quits. Does it all the time -unless you shut down and restart like I mentioned above. Hopefully they work this bug out because it is great when it works. Waiting anxiously for an update.

nice interface, good sounds
I grabbed this app a few days ago on sale, and after having some drama with installs and crashing, I finally got it to work by deleting it from my iPhone, downloading it to my iTunes on my desktop, and reinstalling it from my desktop to the iPhone. the sounds of this app are fun and very usable, however somehow it doesn't have the essence of the juno line. the chorus is especially missing the gooey space that my old Juno had. all said and done, the controls are fun and easy to use, and the sounds are definitely inspiring so long as you don't expect them to save you the money on replacing a real vintage Juno. also, the lack of exporting options are kind of a drag. please at least add audio copy so we can get these sounds out into other apps for editing and sequencing.

I can tell that it's SUPPOSED to sound something like a 106...
I owned a Juno 106 for many years and recorded a lot of music with it. Eventually I replaced it with a mks50 (not quite the same) which I still have. I think the developers still have a long way to go to recreate the richness of the original that they were clearly inspired by. I sincerely hope they get it sounding more "epic" because I would love to have an iOS based Juno emulation that I really liked.
