Awesome piece of productivity software
Editorial has a great set of features, and lots of polish and thoughtful additions. The Dropbox sync has worked perfectly so far, and the editing experience is superb. Managing files seems a little bit sluggish and my previous editor started up a bit faster, but it's really quick and easy to move the cursor around. (Although I did wish that the cursor would go to the previous or next line when swiping if the cursor starts at the beginning or end of a line) The bookmarks bar is quite useful, and there is so much in the app that is customizable.

If you are thinking about getting this, you've probably already read the couple extensive reviews and tutorials- so just get it. If nothing else it is a great text editor, but to be able to automate so much is so amazing. I knew the iPad could be used as a real work machine. This allows it! Awesome app.

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!
Yet another markdown editor. Ho, hum, NOT! To start there is an extended keyboard with an extra row for special characters that does the suddenly blindingly obvious. Holding the / key will offer you and pipe, |, just like eęè. Dropbox linking. TextExpander support Its own snippet library A Python console An integrated browser Workflows It comes with several workflows and you can write your own. One killer example is sort. It's also how replace is implemented. There's a global search to locate a term in all documents. How about running a diff between the current text and the clipboard? Yup. Like BBEdit and TextMate on OS, this goes beyond text processing to text programming. Look for a send to from Drafts pdq.

A desktop markdown text editor on iOS
Due to the workflows and ability to use Python scripts, this app allows me to write and manipulate text as fast as if I were on my desktop. 5 minutes into the app and I already wrote my own workflow, and even more importantly I have found my default editor. For anyone working on markdown or plain text and want to have the ability to do more, this app is for you.
