Best of the MD Editors
This is the best looking, best featured and best integrated of all the markdown editors I've used. The others being Writing Kit and Elements. It is amazing how much more enjoyable it is to write in this app versus the others solely because of the beautiful type rendering. I haven't explored the scripting support but look forward to it.

Powerful But Some Problems Exist
Editorial is amazing — the BBEdit of iOS for editors and journalists. Unfortunately, I think the developer is overwhelmed as I never received a reply to a technical support question. Therefore, I'd like to enumerate some of the issues I've experienced after two weeks of daily usage editing our commercial publications: 1. First and foremost, I don't have the time to learn how to create workflows. I'd like to see some in app purchases for those of us who need additional functionality such as sorting, changing the case of selected words to conform to the AP Style Guide, etc. This is enterprise-class software. I think it's wise to keep the initial price low to create a large user base for the in app purchases that I hope will materialize. 2. You cannot move a document from local storage to Dropbox or vice versa so think carefully when you start a document. I would prefer to start documents locally and move them when I finish. Local is simply more reliable. Dropbox can get flaky sometimes. 3. Even though Editorial has a built-in version of Safari, you cannot make the links in your document live. WriteRoom has this feature so I know it's possible. Instead you must copy and paste URLs. By the way, I'm not a fan of the dumbed down Safari that Apple provides to developers. I always use the real thing so the built-in browser only gets in my way.

Better than any app in its category
This app is better than any other app in its category and I've tried a lot of them! Further, it is better than any writing app on the Mac. The ipad isn't just preferable because it limits distractions due to it'd single app focus. No, now it is preferred because of a superior app. The workflows make research a breeze.

The one I've been waiting for
I've been wanting something like this app for a couple years. Now I have it. I'm totally ecstatic. I can't believe all the subtle details, here; this app is *deep*. I'm just beginning to unlock the potential, and I think of new workflows and Python script ideas every day. I'm not even going to cover everything I love about it. I couldn't possibly do it justice, but I wanted to leave my rating to show my support for one of the greatest developers producing for the App Store right now.
