Kudos: Small Update, Big Impact
When Docs to Go first released its post-iOS 7 revamp, I was thrown. It seemed like crucial, long-relied-upon features were being eliminated to accommodate a pointlessly intrusive visual style spearheaded by Apple's new design team, hamhandedly implemented in this app, especially for iPhone users. Well, whew, good news! DataViz has been steadily releasing incremental updates in response to customer complaints, and this last tweak makes several subtle but high-impact improvements. First, those fat toolbars now slip in and out of view very quickly, making them much less intrusive. Second, zooming within documents seems somehow faster and more intuitive, though it's still a bit chaotic and hard to settle into a good readable zoom size in spreadsheets in particular (not a problem in the old version somehow). All this zooming and swooping is still kind of annoying, but no more so than the rest of iOS 7, which is full of pointless swooping and wiggling anyway. I do miss the stability and slim lines of this app in the Steve Jobs era. But this update is a significant improvement. Even better, all of the problems with PDFs and spreadsheets that many reviewers (including myself) had complained about have been fixed. (Note to Excel users: To edit a spreadsheet, click the big pencil on the right of the fat toolbar.) Best of all, these updates demonstrate that DataViz responds attentively to customer concerns - something you can't take for granted among app developers, to say the least. That responsiveness matters more than any individual set of fixes. The latest upgrades do make a particularly big difference, though, and from my perspective they restore Docs to Go to its longtime position as the best document editing and transfer app for mobile devices. Kudos to a company that really seems to care.

SPELL CHECK, KEYBOARD SUPPORT AND CHINESE PLEEEAAASE!!!!
I cant tell you how disappointed I am in the newest update of this app. FOR BEING THE MOST EXPENSIVE WORD PROCESSOR IN THE APP STORE, IT STILL DOESNT HAVE A SPELL CHECKER. IT STILL CRASHES EVERY TIME I TRY TO TYPE IN CHINESE AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK PROPERLY WITH A BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD. EVERY TIME I SWITCH APPS AND COME BACK TO IT I HAVE TO TAPE THE SCREEN A HALF DOZEN TIMES BEFORE THE CURSOR APPEARS AND I CAN TYPE. ARENT THESE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS YOU NEED IN A WORD PROCESSOR!!!!!!!

Favorite app!
Though I use other apps more, I hugely rely on this to organize my life and analytical mind. And I can rely on it! I use it across multiple platforms and it behaves reasonably the same. Love it!

No iCloud support?
I specifically bought the product because it mentioned iCloud support. But it really does not support iCloud. Fix the advertising and then add in iCloud support so I only have to use one cloud service. Also there is no way apparently to insert a page break. As a writer that is a show stopper. June 2012 Really unhappy. Was creating a new doc. Over an hour of work. App crashed and lost everything. Unhappy doesn't express what I am feeling right now. Was using online connection to google docs. Latest update broke a lot of things. The biggest issue is file names. On most of my files it tacks on an extra file type extension which means file won't open.
