I have the original iPad. It will not allow me to get the newest app. It says I can download an older version. But it doesn't happen. What can I do?

eGift Card Issues
I used to like this app but after the recent update, I cannot use the eCert. Every time I try to access that, the app crashes. I can acess all other parts except the redeem cashback. Please fix it.

Very good
A very slick and useful app. Makes managing your Discover account and making payments easy and straightforward. Each update makes the app noticeably better, so props to the developers for a job well done.

No iPad 1support
Latest update requires iOS 6 or later. I have an original iPad so stuck on iOS 5 as the last update available. If there is security issue with no workaround based then I'll pull back the one star. No other cc or financial institution I deal with has had this requirement to date (as of today). I can't get in to the app without updating and I can't update without iOS 6. :/

Can't use on my first gen iPad. The reason I have money to save at a Discover bank account is because I don't spend it all on unnecessary iPad "upgrades." This is the FIRST app I can't install for this reason. Beware and BOO!!!

Requires iOS 6+
Requires iOS 6 (which isn't supported on 1st gen iPad) and their servers don't allow older versions of the app. Time to uninstall. Shame on you Discover. For years you were behind the security curve with weak password databases and now you secure people out by letting developers write the requirements.
