Not bad... But crashes with recipes
Gets the job done with counting carbs, tracking glucose and water intake. But after using it for almost 3 weeks, I notice that the "email" function doesn't work (so how am I supposed to give results to my doctor?), and every single time I try to use the "my recipe" function, it crashes. Quite frustrating, since every morning I have to enter every ingredient of my protein shake, even though I drink the same shake everyday. But at any rate, I have learned what foods have lots of carbs, and what my average carb intake is for a day. I just will be looking elsewhere for getting more than that from an app.

Going downhill fast
8/12/15-APP still crashing, DO NOT BUY, NO SUPPORT AVAILABLE! 6/16/15-the crashing issue is still there. I switched to an iPad Air and the issue is still there. Is this ever going to be fixed? This was a great app but lack of attention is causing deterioration! I also have never seen this review posted !!!! I have used this app since 2012 and have watched it go down hill ever since. I updated my iPad 2 to newest 8.2 software and now the app crashes requiring it to be restarted several times before able to use. Support is nonexistent. As of 4/4/15 still having issues with above issues. Also, a long time issue when entering glucose numeric reading; this app retains previous reading from last test. This has to be deleted and entered adding trailing zeros. Long time issue that has never been resolved. Great app but needs attention it doesn't get! NEEDS TO BE STORED ON CLOUD SO ALL MY DEVICES CAN SHARE.

Please FIX the Recipes
I love the app, but it's buggy. First is the recipes... Every time I try to add ingredients from favorites it crashes. Second, after you arrange the foods in your favorites and save it, they ALWAYS go back to before you saved them.

Eh...it's ok
You would think that for close to 7 bucks that it wouldn't be so clunky. Good data just the UI is really clumsy. Don't buy this one, there are better ones that are just as clunky for free.

Would have expected more at this version level
20 June 2015 App developer is extremely unresponsive! This application suffers from several bugs, poor and meaningless graphs, constant crashing, and very poor backup and restore capabilities. Since iOS 7.x, the date picker only will work the first time when entering Medications. After that there is a bug that even when the date is shown, it keeps, asking for the specific event instead. Mine has to kill the app and restart it again to enter another medication with a different date.m this same issue also exists in iOS.8.1.3. Graphs for glucose level do not break down daily, weekly, or monthly periods into the specific events (out of bed, before and after meals, before and after activities, etc.) when you have the graph by period, the graph is meaningless since it averages all readings by periods and shows that instead. Totally worthless. As of iOS 8.x, the app crashes constantly when trying to scroll back the reading history of anything, glucose level, weight, medications, blood pressure, etc. The app only allows backup and recovery to a computer and not the cloud. The app developer has been contacted around 5 times since 2014. They do not respond to emails, nor have they fixed the app. After several years, I have opted to switch to a different provider and to delete this app altogether. I would never recommend this app to anyone. 09 May 2015 All of the pros and cons from back in 2012 still remain. The biggest detractor remains to be the poor backup and recovery. The developers absolutely need to enable automatic backups to a cloud provider to protect data as well as enable multiple iOS device use of same data. The user interface is atrocious and needs to be modernized with an addition category entry for general notes. Bug exists on date picker when entering medications that requires you stop the app all together and then restart it to enter it. When entering new BGC reading the last value is shown instead of being cleared. Graphs still do not show BGC reading based on time categories. time categories should come up as suggested values based on the actual time of day. I have found the developer to be totally unresponsive to direct website entry of suggestions, questions, and reporting of bugs. It is sad because this one of the "all-in-one" apps in the App Store. Makes me wish I had iOS programming experience to be able to improve on this application. Oct 2012 Pros: BGC, weight, BP, Carbs, water, and activity tracked by one application. Relatively simple to use although interface is clumsy. Shorter menu is better. Cons: data plots for BGC only plots daily high. Would expect to publish, all checks and the average. Need plot carbs with BGC. Backup and Restore of your logs is simply horrid! The Backup site seems to be down (verified by multiple computers). Why could they have not simply back data to Box, DropBox, iCloud or similar site. Ridiculous!

Not that happy 😕😕😕😕
I purchased this app for my diabetes. I have to say it isn't worth the $6.99 I paid for it. It isn't very user friendly when looking up food. Yes it has a lot of different foods but the info on the food isn't always correct either. And when you are added a food you can't put all info in it doesn't allow you to.It also has a couple of glitches when you are putting in your glucose and hit the button on the top it takes you out of the app. This happens ALOT ,, other wise I like that it stores your info.

Diabetes Buddy
I would like to see a goal count for sugar, salt and cholesterol similar to the weight and glucose. ***After the last upgrade, the carb field in the Custom Food section will no longer save the entry. This needs to be fixed ASAP.*** I like this app and it has been very helpful to me in preventing diabetes. It has help me control my carb intake, monitor salt intake and loose weight. This app needs a sharing feature so that it is easy to transfer data from one iPhone to an iPad or another iPhone via the iCloud. This would be very helpful when you upgrade to a new phone. The backup to a pc instructions needs to be more detailed. Restaurants needs to be updated more often. More restaurants and food items. In the My Recipe many common food items show up as raw instead of sliced tomatoes or white mushrooms. Amount of salt content in some Name Brand food items show up as 0mg or ?mg but in actuality has quite a large amount, as listed on the package. It would also be helpful if the BP portion of the app would tell you when your pressure is high, average or low. A 30, 60, and 90 day average for BP and weight would be very helpful. Would like to see a section for buffets similar to My Recipe section. This would be helpful when you build salads and hot plates at a Ryan's or Golden Coral, etc. The + button in the Custom Food Groups does not work to add custom food groups, i.e. Meat/Fish, TV Dinners, etc. This was fixed in the last upgrade. Add mcg to the unit of medication. Need to allow for more than 5 medications. LB

Disappointing!
A huge disappointment. I should have known better after trying the lite version thinking the expensivE version would have all the features I needed and a better interface-not. Editing your entries is not really possible so don't make mistakes doing your entries. Sharing your data is not customizable, you will have to take the excel file and add some entries manually. Adding custom food is not pleasant, you cannot access all the drop down menu items on an iPad or iPhone. The meds portion has several bugs in there as well. I cannot believe they haven't made any improvements to this in almost 2 years! Spend your $7 elsewhere.
