Handy, easy to use
It's easy to track sugars & weight. Takes more time & setup for carbs, but easy to use--can even customize favs not in database.

Awesome Carb Counts
This app has the best encyclopedia of carb counts for a huge variety of common foods, brands, and restaurants. The app has a lot of other features that I don't use but the carb encyclopedia is a must have pocket resource for any diabetic

the app is great but this is not a free "lite" version! It
As one reviewer already mentioned - the app is fine. I like it for keeping track of my glucose levels with my current diagnosis of gestational diabetes. What I think is sneaky is that this is advertised as a free app. It's not. Today I went to enter my glucose (that's really all I use it for and all I need - I didn't pay for the app because I didn't need any bells and whistles) and it told me I had already reached the limit of entries for the free app and did I want to upgrade? I will upgrade just because I like the app but am annoyed enough about the misleading "free app" that I gave is 2 stars. I will likely give the $7 app a better rating as the app itself is fine (and probably more than what I really even need it for). and when I did download the paid app (downloading via my phone always seems very slow and prone to error) and plug my phone in to load it there was no sync feature with the crappy free trial app that is still there with all the data I'd previously recorded. That's just plain stupid!

Good App for Diabetics
I really like the idea, and I use the app to track my glucose and insulin. I had hoped to be able to track my carb intake. However, the food search engine is PAINFULLY slow!! I've even tried the iPad app on the iPad 3 and it is no better. Fix the food search engine and it is the PERFECT app!!! But until then, stick with carb aware or similar to track food choices...

Only 3 days!
I was locked out after 3 days! There is no warning of limited usage on the info page of the Lite version. The app is easy to use but its food database is awkward and not as extensive as some other diet apps.

Needs longer evaluation time for big $$
I am a newly diagnosed diabetic I agree that a weeks worth of data isn't enough for such a price tag when there are so many that are or have a free version. It's hard to make an expensive ($6.99) decision based on so little information and an inability to be comfortable using your product in only a weeks worth of date. I suggest 30 days and include information as to if you CAN or CANNOT email data to your doctor. I am hoping you contact those that have asked and easy out minds about purchasing. Emailing data is an IMPORTANT piece of the puzzle that most every diabetes app seems to have. I also believe there should be more info in the restaurant section. I found many common items missing from places like subway and McDonalds. No McDouble? Really?? Its been out log enough for an update. Maybe an option to add nutritional information and submit it for the next update right in the app? So as not to be totally down on the app the inclusion of carb snapshot info was/is helpful. I also like being able to track other factors like exercise, weight, water intake, etc. Could the exercise area be beefed up to add additional workout info? I also didn't see where u could enter weight goals to track your progress. I know additions can be costly but with this price point you place a higher expectation to deliver so wonderful items that fall short due to limited and time consuming functionality. I had to start using a paper log book to keep my food info and update every few days because Too Many items simply were not in there. Only 3 stars which would have been only 2 stars but I give props for having plenty of info included but fell short in ease of use, total functionality, and lack of reasonable evaluation period for the product.
