Diabetes App
Good app, use it all the time, however, liked the previous format better.

Great App!
I love this app! It really helps me keep track of everything thats important. I always reference past readings and doses of medicine. And being able to put i Notes is very helpful.

WAS a Great app - Now flawed since update
I previously gave this app 5 stars, but now only 3. Since the most recent update there is a major flaw -- if you add a custom food item, it won't save the data entered for carbs! A work around us the "quick add" feature, but not if you want to track other nutritional data. I am very recently diagnosed. I discovered this app and started using it even before my first appointment with a diabetic counselor and an RD. It is very easy to use - in fact I showed both the counselor and RD the app, and they were impressed that I could track much more than just my carbs or just my blood sugar levels. The database of common foods, branded items, and restaurants is great -- and much more extensive than hunting for details online. I agree with other reviews that it could be improved with a bit of editing and the addition of more national restaurant chains. I debated between four and five stars and wished there was a way to do 4 1/2 stars -- the tracking part is excellent (5 star worthy), but the recipe function isn't. With my diagnosis, I've started doing a lot more home cooking and find it very challenging to calculate the nutrition levels (e.g., carbs, proteins) for a single serving if I cook with planned leftovers -- which is often. I'm sure it can be done, but there are no instructions for data entry or explanations of what's being aggregated vs. being calculated based upon single serving. As I get into the groove of the "new" life, I will probably follow up with the developers and ask for feedback about using that function more effectively.

Really like it. Number entry could be more consistent. Been a big help!

Diabetices app
Had to start insulin for my type II diabetics this week and was looking for a good app to be able to track my shots meds and carb count. Found this app a few days ago, read all the reviews and thought I'd try it. Great app in all aspects except one minor detail. Info input on my iPad does not appear on my iphone. Bummer. Have to input twice if I want to track on both. Maybe someone knows how to get one entry to go to both devices?

Lots of info
Lots of info available but requires effort on your part to chart correctly and be a useful tool for both you and your doctor. Could be a little more user friendly with fewer inputs.
