First of all wanted this so I could sync Outlook colour coding. The same colours do not appear on the Ipad as in Outlook. ThenI had to change the colours manually on Ipad hoping they would sync back to Outlook, nope. Deleted one day of a two different days appointment in Ipad, synced, and the one day was gone in Outlook (what I wanted) Then I went to Outlook and added the other day again and synced again............ it disappears from Outlook after sync and does not show up in Ipad. Its a total disaster. I do not have the time to waste on trying to find out what will work or what will stay or what will disappear. Dont waste your money, especially on the VERY expensive CompanionLink software for your desktop.

I was looking for an app where I could combine calendar / task functions with note taking. This does provide the opportunity to add notes to calendar events, but not very sophisticated. Multiple appointments in one day do not show up on the month view. Even though I have changed the settings repeatedly, the week starts on Monday, not Sunday. The week view often freezes and will not show any data. I haven't tried syncing with outlook. Frankly, I am afraid to do it! This app is simple to use, but there are a lot of disappointing flaws. Hope they are fixed soon...

A long way to go
I am an x palm user. I was so hopeful when I found this app that I might get some calendar functionality back that I gave up going to iPhone. The ability to sync wireless was attractive too. The calendar does a time window of sync data defaulted at 90 days. I want all the data to sync. Having historical data is very valuable to me. The sync with outlook was unreliable. Every calendar sync caused items to be duplicated on the deja calendar yet only one item appears on outlook calendar. I also lost ringtone and text tone data on the native iOS contact info. I made careful backups before testing so I will revert back to wired sync through iTunes. This app has a long way to go to be comparable to Palm OS.

Keeps getting worse
5/29/11 (v1.2.1): Have tried since version 1.1.5 to use DJO and CompanionLink Pro to sync Goldmine with the iPhone4. With each update I have allowed myself a glimmer of hope. Alas, this one (v1.2.1) is the worst yet. It crashed on first use importing contacts and now won't open the DJO app at all. Seriously? I would rather wait six months for a version that works than waste time with untested, pre-Alpha releases. Come on guys, get it together. 5/31/11 (v1.2.2): immediate release of bug fix did not help. The DJO app crashes within 3 secs of opening. A+ for effort, F for results. I assume my DJO database is now corrupted. Next update needs to wipe it before trying the initial contact import.

Bugs with system
This software has bugs with iPhone sync with outlook. It keeps adding the same event to your calendar every time you sync. I now have 5 of every event and i can not clean it up.
