Needs An Update
Much of this app is awesome and worthy of 4 stars, but the expense function needs more features and contact categories are permanent.

Great little app
I find this app easy to use, nice clean interface. Has a good range of functions to keep your day to day tasks listed.

Disapointed
Seemed like a great idea until I had to spend several hours fixing ACT! created hundreds of duplicate contacts. Messed up repeating calendar items, and "crashed/froze" all the time.

Ouch!
Trying to find a user-side solution to syncing with Lotus Notes since my IT or management reuse to, or are unable to, install the server side software for Traveller. Found Companion Link as my only alternative. It needs Companion Link installed on the iPhone to complete the process. I started by downloading and installing this app. Contact list seemed to automatically pull from my iPhone Contacts. Promising, I thought. So I started to browse the other links. One link syncs DejaOffice Calendar with the phone's. Did that. Found strange entries from months ago listed on every day. Turns out that these were day long activities. Deja did not recognize an end date so listed it as "forever". Also, did not end other repetitious appointments. So I tried to delete those appointments that showed up beyond the planned end date. There are only two options to delete. One just says "delete" while the other is "this occurrence". They don't offer "all future occurrences so I chose the first. Every occurring for the past year was wiped out. I went back to the iPhone native calendar and - it was wiped out there as well! Finally, turn the phone to landscape mode and the program responded. But not too well. Forward and back buttons were improperly positioned, albeit working. However, overlying the month. In less than 3 minutes I realized that this is probably going to have more bugs than I care to deal with if I were to go ahead with the Companion Link sync. At least it saved me $70 in software purchase. Now, I wonder if I can trade this iPhone 4 for a crummy BlackBerry, just so I can use the PDA features again. Apple's insistence on control has been their primary drawback and the reason for the longevity of the PC market - and now the longevity of BlackBerry. Apple's phones blow away the others. Great products -crummy market strategy.

I don't have 1 good thing to say. Syncing didn't work - don't waste your money.
