Loved old one, not so much the new one....
I'm okay with the UI. I loved the old version, specifically the filing system. Nice and neat. The new version filing system is horrible, hate having to swipe down to see all my series of books. Pls bring back the old filing system. Pls make it as an option in this new one.

Update has me looking for new App
Why anyone would choose to mess with something that so many previously enjoyed is beyond me. Previously, I was able to see mos tof the 30+ series of comics I carry with me at one time as the look of a comic box showing me just the first issue was a great idea. With the newest update, I can see at most 4-5 series and have to scroll to see the rest. It is quite cumbersome having to scroll through so many series, especially when you are not sure what you may be wanting to read that day. I travel a ton and so I carry maybe more comics than the average person for my trips but this change to a list or a grid view (which by the way looks the exact same), with a completely non-intuitive way to try and get to a particular comic in a series makes for sheer frustration. Not to mention, clicking a series to scroll through the comics in that "box"...don't bother trying to get back to the original list or grid view of all comics like you used to be able to with a quick click...it isn't happening anymore. Unfortunately the loss of the previous intuitiveness/simplicity of the App has me looking around and annoyed I paid what I did to have it changed to something that no one seems to have asked for.

Update not so good.
EDIT: Ended up re-installing the old version. Couldn't stand the update. Take that as you will. ************************************************************************************ List view is horrendous. I now need to scroll, what, 4 more times as often as I did before? If I miss-click I get a pop up asking to change the name of the series...talk about bad UI design. All my "Finished" is now gone, not that I can't keep it straight what I've read and what I haven't, but I'm sure I'll end up rereading some comics I have already. I'm also not sold on the color scheme, not saying the old one was good, just saying this one isn't better. I'd consider this update a downgrade over all, can't even label it as a side grade.

Version 4 was the Best
I started with Comic Zeal version 4 and loved it. It was great on the iPod touch and later an awesome experience when I first started using the iPad. When CZ5 was released I hated it. The app icon, the UI, the way comics are handled, everything was jarring. It took me a long time to finally accept and get used to it, and all was well. Now the fustration starts all over again with version 6. The UI elements I admit makes sense on the iPod touch/iPhone but is horribly presented on the iPad. Thankfully I had my CZ5 app backed up. CZ5 is stable for the most part unlike CZ4 which is one of the reasons I moved on to CZ5. I'll just sit back and relax with CZ5 while the issues of CZ6 are being addressed.

New version is awful
I've used CZ for a while now and LOVED it for its capability and its UI. Then I woke up in the morning to an auto-update to THIS. Jeez, was I that drunk? Color scheme is jarring, especially when reading in the dark. Is the main function of this new version to rename files? The developer seems to think so. Used to be able to view 20-ish titles in a single list view, now it's down to about 5 or so. Hope you like scrolling through giant blocks of wasted screen real estate. God I hope I have a backup copy of the old version on my computer.
