The peak of perfection
Thanks for the iPhone 5 support. Reading comics on this app has truly been an amazing experience. I cant find any better app, so if you like comics, give this app a try.

A great app but then….
From what I have read on the developers twitter page, there is an update pending with Apple, so perhaps this app will get a million times better. This is a very nicely made app, it's slick, it's professional looking and the most important thing of all it looks like it's made for the device you are using unlike some other apps that are so bland and boring. With that said my only gripe and sadly the reason I have stopped using it is due to it's lack of transferring files via your network, for example using your web browser and IP address as found in many other apps for a while now. No iCloud support either. Read carefully the authors apps description before purchasing. Here's to hoping for future improvements.

Very Awkward Interface Needs Revamping
I hadn't used Comic Zeal in quite a while. It used to be my go-to comic book reader for iPad. But I am completely frustrated by the new, kludgy, awkward organizational tools, especially that dog of a feature called a "slider." Please just follow Apple's interface guidelines and don't try to re-invent iOS. Trying to organize my comics into a "Divider" (actually, it's a folder, guys--no need to confuse the issue with new terms) is completely frustrating. How about you just implement a simple drag-and-drop methodology instead if this ridiculous slider business?

Get on it, fanboy.
This is an amazing app for reading your digital comics, particularly if you have a obsessive compulsive need to keep them super organized. It's intuitive and looks real nice to boot. The only improvement I would like the see is the option to have "finished" comics open from the first page rather than the last. This seems to make a lot more sense and would gel well with the covers-centric organization of the app.

WOW!!! So great
UPDATED REVIEW: I love this app. Probably one of the best over all comic book readers I have used. It does have some faults though, but over all it is great. Comic layouts look beautiful. The one thing I would love to see in this app, and maybe this will be addressed in a future update, is a page turn animation similar to .epub books (that iBooks uses). I would love to see that feature added. The cons, for this app, is there is a bit of a learning curve to the app. The auto sort doesn't really seem to work (though sometimes it will throw a few comics into one named bin) however if you sort by hand, it will stay sorted and you won't have to worry about it again till you put new comics in the reader. This is where the slight learning curve comes into, and that's using the sliders. There is a tutorial but I found I had to mess with it a bit for I figured it out my selfs. Now it's cake. There are a lot of complaints about the auto sorting not working, and while it would be nice for it to sort, I personally like to sort by hand. Especially with so many different comic variations of books, such as Superman, Batman, etc. Also if you load a bunch of comics in at once there is a one time loading period, and depending on how many comics you load it could be a lengthy loading period, and it will lock up your iPad or other iDevice, till its done. In regards to page turning, I have found it lags at times, especially if you use the "slide page" method. The tap to turn page works great. Comics look great on this app, pinch to zoom works flawlessly should you need it. The display of the comics on the home page looks wonderful. Series folders and dividers make books very easy to find. The auto book marking is awesome, and I love how when you finish one book it will automatically go into the next book without missing a beat. When a book is done the animation shows it in a bag with the word finished on it so you know you have read the book. All in all I'd give this app 4 stars. If had had the page turn like iBooks it would be easily 5 stars. Very much worth the price. This was a very cool app before and probably my fav comic reader, but man this app has made it feel like a whole new comic reader than the one i was using before. It's beautiful, feels very polished and clean. The layouts just pop out at you. The best comic reader out there so far. Thanks for such a great update! As others are saying, if you have been holding out on buying this app, don't! It's awesome.
