End of an Era
Great run while it lasted. The reader has stopped working. Books are no longer importing properly. Cover pages have been replaced with icons. There have been numerous (most are recent) negative reviews. Limited updates from the developers. I guess they have gotten lazy. Darn shame, used to be m favorite app.

Ugh... Crashes nonstop now!
Current version crashes whenever I import comics. When it works it's the best. It doesn't work often enough anymore....

Nice
Very easy to import your books, and retina display makes the far prettier. I had no problem installing and using the app. No crashes or error-ed imports. Really happy with it, have a large library and it handles very well.

Excellent and satisfying on iPad too!
I have the iPhone version as well as this for both my devices. This is the best reader. I am owning it for over a year now and never felt like looking for another one in the apple store. It is just great as it is and completely satisfactory. Of course there are some features that could be really nice to be added to this app that enhances the organizing capability. Also the external windows application the comic zeal sync works great with this app!!! 5 stars without doubt!! Keep up the great job guys and keep adding more features to it!!!

Good interface, poor documentation and functionality
TL;DR if you have a Mac and want WiFi support, use ComicBookLover instead. It will be cheaper and its wireless transfer is rock solid and utterly simple. If you're going to transfer via cable through iTunes, this should work OK. On the positive side, the interface is among the best of the iOS comic readers, and has some very clever features. On the downside, it crashes when importing comics, and WiFi transfer has never worked for me. Additionally, the documentation is poor; for example, there's mention of dropbox support on the comiczeal website, but the explanation for the feature is buried in the "support" area of the site (this is the case with many of the app's features - as if they're hesitant to tell you how to use it!) Additionally, the support that is there is often out of date or frustratingly obtuse. You must convert files before they're transferred. Transferring through iTunes clogs up hard drive space needlessly, and isn't always practical.

Ok when it works but very buggy
When I first bought the app it simply refused to import one comic that other readers handled without issue. The developer suggested waiting for his next release to see if that cured it. It did but it was frustrating to have paid for an app and be unable to actually use it for a week. Last night I tried adding more comics. The app now crashes every time I try to use it. It seems to be choking on an import. The developer really needs to incorporate better error handling. From looking at the support site I'm far from alone in having this problem. Support is also slow for the app. It took several days to get any response to my first issue. In fact I didn't hear anything until I filed a complaint through iTunes. The app has potential but two major outages in a month make me wish I hadn't wasted my money or time on it.
