Used to be good.
Update ruined it, nearly impossible for me to connect now.

Not bad.
Simple client, works well. No picture / video / geo location posting like some other clients. No ability to alter default font, size, screen color etc. personally I hate black text on white backgrounds.. Kind of lame that this clients offers no customization.

Awesome IRC client
Excellent app - looks nice, and does what it should, without a lot of fuss. Major bugs from a recent update have been fixed, which is greatly appreciated. To make the most of it, you need to use it with a "bouncer" such as ZNC or the desktop Colloquy for Mac. You can stay connected to IRC all the time, and hop on from multiple clients at any point to see what's been going on. The Apple-imposed 10-minute timeout becomes a non-issue.

Used to be good
Dec 29 update unbroke it. User list is back in iPad landscape, user colors are back, and it looks like the autocorrection isn't jacked up now. At least it's not adding letters at the end of my words.

Not great.
I don't typically write reviews or rate apps, but after being annoyed enough by this app I was compelled to do so. This app isn't horrible, but between the unintuitive user interface, lack of polish, and REALLY ANNOYING bug of adding "s" to any word at the end of a sentence that can be pluralized, I would recommend you spend your money elsewhere. I'm deleting this app and getting something else. Sorry, Colloquy.
